Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting content development, events, email marketing, social media content strategy, and social advertising strategy and management. Our ideal candidate: you are savvy, nimble, creative, and love to implement strategy across marketing tactics. Your writing skills are top-notch, and you can easily manage paid and organic social campaigns. You are collaborative and want to become the in-house expert on one or more tactics. You appreciate the entrepreneurial journey, are passionate about nonprofit missions, and are comfortable on a team of vocal social-change advocates.

Qualifications for Marketing Manager:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree
  • 4+ years of prior marketing/social media work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge across a variety of marketing tactics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech savvy – able to “figure it out” when faced with new tools or platforms
  • Excellent customer-service skills
  • Project management experience preferred but not required

Compensation for Marketing Manager Position:

  • $60,000 – $70,000 per year commensurate with experience

Marketing Intern (Part-Time)

Arlington Strategy is committed to providing learning opportunities in marketing, advertising, and branding. Our Marketing Intern will bring a passion for creativity, strategy, and communications, and our team will provide mentorship, challenging assignments, and the space to grow your skills in email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and guerilla marketing. You’ll be exposed to a broad range of clients and assist our client teams with various tasks. If you are curious about working in a marketing agency, this is your opportunity!

Primary Responsibilities

  • Content research
  • Social media copywriting
  • Assist in creating social media graphics and short-form video content
  • Assist in deploying and managing campaigns via social media, newsletters, print, and other channels
  • Administrative support

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed at least one year of college
  • Strong writing skills
  • Some experience creating social media graphics with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Tech savvy – enjoys being able to “figure it out” when faced with new digital tools
  • Some experience using social media, even if only for personal use
  • Positive attitude
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail

Work Location

We are an Arlington-based agency offering flexible/hybrid work arrangements.

$15/hour
