We are currently hiring for two positions:

1. Marketing Manager (Full-Time)

Arlington Strategy provides comprehensive marketing, branding, and advertising services to nonprofit and business clients at every stage of growth. We seek an experienced marketing professional with strong project management abilities to support agency growth, client strategy, and engagement success. The ideal candidate will delight in delivering exceptional service with a strong ethos of doing what is in the client’s best interest. This role is appropriate for an individual with a growth mindset, a passion for helping, comfort in fast-paced, client-facing situations, and a shared respect for our values:

Essential Functions

  • Create, deploy and manage marketing campaigns
  • Write compelling and creative copy for social, blogs, newsletters, and reports
  • Manage ads accounts in multiple social channels
  • Manage ad buys with multiple vendors
  • Manage client relationships and budgets
  • Assist with proposal development
  • Metrics reporting and analysis
  • Monitor client accounts and provide strategic recommendations
  • Think strategically and creatively
  • Project management and administrative support

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of prior relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated marketing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with good time/task management skills to meet deadlines
  • Positive and collaborative demeanor, ability to participate with larger teams and clients
  • Tech savvy – ability to “figure it out” when faced with new tools or platforms

Work Location
Our hybrid work model supports individuals while encouraging collaboration and team building. This is not a remote position. You must be able to attend in-person meetings in and near our office in Arlington, VA.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year

2. Director of Marketing Services (Full Time)

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to support agency growth, client strategy, and engagement success. The candidate will be a critical leader internally and externally, facilitating creative and brand direction, and project management. This role is appropriate for an individual with a growth mindset, a passion for helping, and comfort in fast-paced, client-facing situations.

Essential Functions

  • Marketing strategy: brand audits, campaign planning, advertising strategy
  • Writing: brand messaging, strategy deliverables, proposals
  • Project management: oversee project budgets, goals, timelines, and reporting
  • People management: collaborate with staff and consultants to achieve key client and agency objectives; client relationship management
  • Vision: create opportunities for agency growth; support business development activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • 8+ years of marketing experience (3+ in client services/agency setting)
  • Experience leading teams and/or client engagements
  • Strong digital marketing | digital strategy skills
  • Project management savvy
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Positive, pleasant demeanor, strong collaborator
  • Organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Tech savvy – comfortable being able to figure it out/learn new platforms when necessary
