What a wonderful day when I learned of Jennifer and Arlington Strategy through one of my clients! Without question, Jennifer was just what we needed. Her powerful combination of vision, dedication, energy and knowledge ensured a solid social media and marketing plan to take our 2-1/2 year old business to the next level. Her learning curve was minimal, and she came up to speed quickly in terms of understanding our market – and helping me understand it even better! Jennifer came through as a terrific resource and partner for us that we can’t do without! I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from her, and I look forward to our next engagement. I highly recommend Arlington Strategy without reservation! ~ Michelle Scott, Owner/Director

OUR ENGAGEMENT

Tutoring Club of McLean Owner/Director Michelle Scott hired Arlington Strategy to help her grow her then 2-year old franchise. The business was established but Michelle saw the potential for growth, despite a crowded and competitive marketplace.

Marketing collateral and external communications were a mix of corporate stock content and new messaging. Tutoring Club of McLean needed to more clearly develop a local brand that communicated the hyper personal and local nature of their services, and differentiated their business from their competitors.

CLIENT’S GOAL

Tutoring Club of McLean wanted to increase its sales, establish its brand and services as extremely high quality, and attract and retain superb tutors. In addition, the client wanted to create marketing collateral and messaging that reflected the local marketplace.

RESULTS

Arlington Strategy’s market research resulted in a clear understanding of Tutoring Club of McLean’s value proposition, and was the basis for a new communications strategy. We devised and implemented new marketing collateral to more clearly differentiate Tutoring Club of McLean and to reach a broader market. Arlington Strategy worked with the client to differentiate messaging based on the audience, and to appeal to the sensitive nature of the target consumer by leveraging video testimonials from a variety of customers. In addition, Arlington Strategy led the campaign to earn Tutoring Club of McLean a coveted Best Business award in Arlington Magazine. Arlington Strategy’s comprehensive PR, social media and mass email marketing program was aligned and resulted in the client achieving nearly 100% growth.
